What do you think of the massive content update that Pokemon Snap is getting?

I am very happy for all the Snappers out there getting more stuff to do! I still haven't played the game myself but my kid loved it!

It’s been a busy week for news, what’s one news story that you were happy to see?

The Sam and Max VR game is getting some kind of physical release with new art from Steve Purcell. That rules!

What was your favorite game shown at the Annapurna showcase?

I definitely want to play Stray as soon as humanly possible.

Favorite piece(s) on the site this week, and why?

The Idol Manager review! It's good to see games so far off the radar getting attention.

Playing any fun or exciting video games this weekend?

I have a ton on my plate but most of it seems good! But outside of work I'm super deep into Super Robot Wars V and having a great time.

Do you have any TV, movie, anime, or music recommendations that you’d like to share?

The Star Trek TNG episode with Dr. Crusher unsure if she's losing her mind as the crew is gradually erased from existence is super good.

Bonus question, inspired by the Xbox doughnut, what is your favorite type of doughnut and what’s the weirdest doughnut you’ve ever eaten?

The weirdest donut... this might be cheating but I had a burger with donuts instead of bread buns once and that thing was legendary. My favorite kind in general is Boston Cream.

What do you think of the massive content update that Pokemon Snap is getting?

It's exciting, I'm happy to have a reason to go back and check out some more of that game, I pretty much completed everything in that game. A nice free update with more Pokemon and new areas was far more than I ever expected from this game.

It’s been a busy week for news, what’s one news story that you were happy to see?

Outer Wilds expansion is easily my most anticipated thing coming out this year. I'm so excited to see what they do with it.

What was your favorite game shown at the Annapurna showcase?

Neon White has been on my radar since it was shown off back in February. Bummed it still doesn't have a solid release date but that's one I won't miss.

Favorite piece(s) on the site this week, and why?

I think Morgan's coverage of everything that's been going on with Act/Blizzard has been really stellar and it's certainly a situation everyone needs to be paying attention to.

Playing any fun or exciting video games this weekend?

I don't really have anything major on the docket for the weekend. I'm going to try and get a match or two of Splitgate in because that seems to be the new hotness.

Do you have any TV, movie, anime, or music recommendations that you’d like to share?

I actually don't really have much currently. I might try and see The Green Knight this weekend so I should have more to say about that next week.

Bonus question, inspired by the Xbox doughnut, what is your favorite type of doughnut and what’s the weirdest doughnut you’ve ever eaten?

Favorite donut is easily glazed. It's boring, but it hits right every time. As for the weirdest, Idk if I've ever had weird combinations of flavors, but I do like a maple bacon every once and a while.

What do you think of the massive content update that Pokemon Snap is getting?

I was surprised to hear it, and surprised at how much content is being added. Surprised, but definitely delighted.

It’s been a busy week for news, what’s one news story that you were happy to see?

I think the Xbox Live Gold, Game Pass, and PS Plus lineup for August. A lot of great games for people to play in August.

What was your favorite game shown at the Annapurna showcase?

Without a doubt, Stray. I'm a huge cat person, playing a cute little cat with a backpack looks absolutely delightful.

Favorite piece(s) on the site this week, and why?

I'd say the two reviews from Lucas, and the Pokemon Unite guides from Jesse. Great stuff!

Playing any fun or exciting video games this weekend?

I'm taking a very short break next week, so probably not.

Do you have any TV, movie, anime, or music recommendations that you’d like to share?

I can't get Aespa's Next Level out of my head, so that's my recommendation. It's perfect when you're playing games, it just fits so well lol.

Bonus question, inspired by the Xbox doughnut, what is your favorite type of doughnut and what’s the weirdest doughnut you’ve ever eaten?

My favorite are probably the maple glazed ones from Krispy Kreme or Dunkin. Love a good maple glazed, also love the classic sprinkle donut.

As for the weirdest, there's a doughnut shop in California called Psycho Donuts and I used to get their strawberry pocky doughnut all the time when I lived in the area. Looking at their menu now, it looks like they may not sell it anymore which makes me sad but they do have a matcha doughnut that I really want to try some day.
